This is a website about a young Chef from York named Alex Bond. Alex has worked with some of the best Chefs in the UK [Experience] who have helped him shape and refine his passion for food – developing a personal style that relies on the simplicity and stark nature of complementing flavours. After eleven years in other peoples kitchens Alex wants to go home and set up his own restaurant.
However, like many young Chefs, Alex does not have any money of his own; this website aims to help Alex find passionate food lovers who would like to invest in one of Britain’s most promising talents [Testimonials]. Investors won’t make millions [Proposal] but they will get exclusive access to unique culinary experiences that money simply can’t buy [Extras] as well as the opportunity to be on the cutting edge of UK cuisine.

This site will be updated every Sunday with news, test menus, chances to see Alex cook, information about potential venues, thoughts on wine and as the year progresses the sample business plan, lists of suppliers and further business ideas.
The aim of “The York Chef” is to find up to fifty potential investors to attend a run of showcases in August. At this event Alex and his team will cook a complete tasting menu with matching wines, the Business Plan will be presented in it’s entirety and Alex will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
